Please carefully review all category requirements below before submitting a music entry form. Submissions that fail to meet the listed requirements risk disqualification from the NJ State Teen Arts Festival nomination process. One form per performance is required. All entry forms are due by March 15, 2024.
Pieces from each category listed will be selected to represent Cumberland and Cape May Counties at the NJ State Festival. Alternates for each county will also be selected in the event the nominee(s) is/are unable to attend the NJ State Teen Arts Festival.
CATEGORY GUIDELINES
POETRY
- There is a maximum of six (6) entries per school.
- Each entry cannot exceed four (4) poems OR four (4) pages, whichever is greater.
- All entries must be typed on 8 ½ x 11” paper, double-spaced with at least 1” margins on all sides. No handwritten entries will be accepted. All entries must be submitted as PDFs.
- Identify at the top right hand corner of each page:
Line 1: Student’s name
Line 2: School/county
Line 3: Grade & Age
Line 4: Page number (Pg. 1 of 1; Pg. 1 of 2, etc) - Any entries may be published in the county or state Literary Arts Anthology or used for other Teen Arts purposes.
